Awesome series Mr. Jace. You have a gift for live sweat commentary. Probably the best live sweat commentary of any videos I’ve seen. It was very interesting and informative even down to 2 and 1 tables. I think I like your live sweat commentary even more than your hand history reviews. Keep it up!

Enjoyed it as well. Have already put to use some of what you are doing and like I mentioned in an earliar video got me thinking. Congrats on the nice scores as well.

Hey Daryl. First of all let me say I really cant get on with Live Sweats. I rarely seem to feel like I am learning and it always seems like a commentary as opposed to analysis so I normally avoid them.

So, I went into your live sweat expecting more of the same but was really surprised I loved it. I think the reasons are :

    – Pretty quickly you had space on the screen to leave interesting hands in the hand history. This meant that you could continue playing and take your time in analysing the interesting hand, not being limited to when it plays out or the instant memory if it.
    – You seemed focused on analysis and not commentary. No ‘fold 72off here, not playing A2 there’ – we know that we can see it – so the obvious spots you didn’t even mention, just played. Meaning you could use this time to analyse as above.

A small criticism was that you seemed to talk yourself into taking a certain action or line, especially pre to steal – ‘looks like a good spot to open, BB folds a lot”. Then you’d fold but not explain why. I think maybe you try to convince yourself by talking out loud then realise your not that convincing so do the opposite – not a bad tactic..

Finally to say I didn’t mind the language at all. AK v AQ – Q on turn my favourite expletive combination.

    Well done and thanks.
