Just joined TPE this about a week ago, after watching your sample videos about five times each, and am thus far blown away. Been to distracted by the videos to get in the forums much, but I am going to start posting hands and such.

Anyway I have only been playing poker for about a year and a half, with very limited success. Mostly I have done what most begginers seem to do. Deposit $100, donk it off, repeat. Anyway, I once again deposited $25, one week and six or seven low stakes final tables later, I am sitting on about a grand, which is far and away the most I have ever had online at once.

My question is, now that I have a workable bankroll, what should I be doing to make sure I dont give it all back? At this point I am not positive that I am a winning player. What stakes are good for a relitive novice with a $1000 bankroll on lock? Thanks!

PS. The start of my little heater coniceded with joining TPE, so I would say it was one of the better investments I have made in my life 🙂

I would even go slightly more conservative than those guidelines if you have only really had one significant score, just so you get your confidence up. I would grind the games up to maybe $10 and just try and get lots of volume in for a month, to prove to yourself that it wasn’t a fluke. I’m sure it isn’t, but as soon as you have that confidence you will be on your way
