Since WSOP Vegas……… been playing pretty well.  Had my biggest online score.  Was on a heater there with lots of cashes and FT’s.  Then LIVE…… WSOP Main   Day 2 w/ ONLY 3 hands left in night.  My KK 11bb jam from UTG gets beat by bb’s A5hh.

Then at Borgata AC event 1  2 Million gtd $500,   1st place was 320k,  Day 2 – have table chip lead.  20 from money.  KK utg loses to AA  from 350k to 140K.  Make the money………  and the SAME guy  get me again  KK < AA.  all within 20 minutes, LOL  He went on to finish 3rd and made 202k (chopped 3 ways).

Parx Main event in Oct.  My AA no good vs KTdd  on 822dd flop…….  he turns flush.

Last week vs a SOFT field at Harrahs’ Philly  100k gtd.  13/39 coming back for day 2.  Feeling great.  I know I have an advantage over this field.  Get AA like the 6th hand of the day……  lose to 76ss  on a 543 rb flop.  lol   *Now I will admit, I think I played the hand way too fast post flop, shame on me.  But.  C’mon man!  AA loses again.  lol

Then last night on WSOP online NJ  10k, After we get past rebuy period.  I lose most of my stack to a cooler.  I’m left w/ 3k at 200/400.  But battle back and am in the top 10 when we reach the money.  But of course, some guy gets coolered, his flopped set loses to riv flush.  he’s down to 10bb………. jams A9ss.  I’m in the sb w/ AKo..  Of course a 9 hits flop.  F**K   smh.

Then I’m watching a friend on the WSOP Main broadcast  Joe McKeehan get CRASHED by the deck.  now I am very happy for him.  he’s young and VERY good at playing poker.  Just once I would like to run like him in big spots late in tourneys.  Playing with him at Borgata & Parx over the last 3 years I’ve seen it first hand.

I know I’m still playing right and making good calls.  All I can do is get it in GOOD and let the poker gods decide what 5 cards are coming out on the flop.

Back to the grind.  A painful grind at times.   Blah………………….

Haha! I totally hear you!! AA is supposed to hold up 85% vs the top 10% hands. And, I (amateurishly) always feel that the 85% of the time it holds up is in $3 online MTTs during an insignificant time, and the 15% it gets cracked is in big buy-in live MTTs when a win in that pot will most definitely put you on cruise mode to final table :D. Happened to me recently in an online MTT with about 2000 bucks up top. I had 3x the chip average after buy-in period and called a 4-way all-in with a 2x avg guy and 2 other stacks.. I had KK, the 2x avg guy and another guy had AK and the 4th person had 22. If that pot was mine, I am easily cruising to top 5 finish… but A has to show up when someone has KK 🙂

Every blue moon I have to get this shit off my chest. lol  Just ONCE, in important BIG spots deep in tourneys.  I don’t mind losing.  But I watch others at times and see who wins BIG tourneys LIVE or online.  My volume has been small this year both LIVE & Online, so I’m hoping it will change.  As BigDog says, “The math says it will change.”

Thanks again and GLGL you all.

I FEEL GREAT AGAIN, lol.
