So Foucault told me to give money to an urban debate league and I did, almost immediately. Later he ran a contest and gave away prizes. Apparently I won.

Now here is my issue. I want a hand review on the thinking poker podcast. So I have been playing more, paying a hell of a lot more attention and addressing hands as if they could be my 15 minutes (assuming Foucault does not get long winded over one hand) of pseudo internet poker podcast fame.

My issue is that I am not finding any really tricky spots. I have however shipped a 20k guarantee tourney live, increased my hourly by 50% on cash sessions and enjoyed the game much more in the process. However, I still have no good hand for that sweet sweet online podcast glory.

Damn you Foucault! What am I to do? I have 550bi main event I am playing this weekend. I am going to put on my can’t run as bad as killingbird shirt and try yet again to find that unicorn of a thinking poker podcast worthy hand. For now I will just console myself with all my winnings.

Thanks again for your donation. I’m glad the pursuit of a good hand discussion has inspired you, but you don’t need to feel any rush from our end. The podcast isn’t going away any time soon, and we’ll be happy to talk about one of your hands whenever you come up with one. You don’t need to sweat it too much – we can find a way to make lots of hands interesting (routine spots are the most important to get right, and there are probably of plenty things you/many people consider “standard” that are in fact suboptimal), and if there truly isn’t a lot to discuss, we won’t be shy about suggesting that you find a new one.

it makes me feel somewhat good that I am now known as the guy who runs as bad as humanly possible. I just hope it does not hurt my chance to sell action for the WSOP this summer! 🙂

I ended up getting 14th for 2100 Ran like super cold from 18-14 but I do have some good hands for Foucault and I will get to make some fun ones on the forums.
