GSOP SALZBURG FINAL TABLE

i just finished 8th in the GSOP salzburg main event (1500$ buyin-1st place 70k)

its a 4 day tourney with 20k starting stack and 60mins levels and a great blind structure

the crazy thing was i was the first 2 days rarely above 20bb and grinded it out and somehow got into the money (still short) – top 32 pay

on the 3rd day i had a good run and played maybe my best livepoker ever. had great reads on guys and the balls to follow it through.

when there were 2 tables left i was always top 3 in chips, on the final table i came 5th in chips.

on the 4th day (final table) i unfortunatly didnt play my best poker and made some stupid decisions and had a wrong read on a guy (poor player) which crippled me. and when i tried to double up and my AJ lost to KT

anyway a great experience and some nice $$$

if you wanna see my stupid face:

Congratz bada! Nice to hear you were satisfied on your play and on a roll shortstacked on the way to ft. Playing well gives a feel good indeed.

Pity at the ft. One bad read can be devastating tho. AJ vs K10 is just unlucky.

Well played sir!

ty guys it was real fun, money and ft was nice, but knowing that i can compete live (at this buyinlevel) and have an edge over most players there is the real win. this gives me confidence and  motivates me to learn more and play more and that im on the right way (but still a long way) to become a good player.

im really thankful to tpe cause its great how my game has improved since i joined and i think i did some good promo for our community by wearing the tpe hoodie, some guys ask me about it and some of em surely will check this site out.

cant wait to play the next live event 🙂

would be fun to see some other real faces behind the names too ( i guess i saw u and benny pics from live tourneys on here), maybe a live pic thread or sth like the twitter thread for facebook, but thats maybe too private for some, what do you guys think?
