just pulling notes from my phone-

6 handed-

bb has $20, nitty gambling black guy- he's folded a lot and kinda seems to be playing with intention to run it up, if that makes sense, based on how he's talking and stuff. cutoff is 40-50's year old dude with headphones, but is chatting with table. note says i don't recognize him, but he's talking to an older woman who i know is a recreational player/regular player for the room. he hasn't done anything yet, so i just assume he's gonna play straight forward and raise strong, call or fold weak. he's sitting on $300

before i look at my hand i see that the button picked up chips. he likes his hand.

i'm hj and open to $8 with AQo-

btn 3bets to $22. bb calls all in very quickly. Hero folds? It feels way too nitty but I just don't think I'm going to have fun postflop vs this the button unless an A Q flops. His 3b range probably like JJ+, AQs+, and the bb's call with his stack can be like probably good aces, KQ, 77+

I'd fold without the all-in, but now you're getting better odds and will have a mostly dry sidepot which should make hand reading and equity realization easier.

I wouldnt be thrilled to call the 3 bet out of position, but as pointed out there is now a $20 overlay* on the hand.   I can check nearly 100% of my range on the flop, and he is $300 deep so I think its worth considering, especially is the BUTTON is readable post-flop.

*not technically an overlay, but I presume if I catch and A or Q flop, that it will be good for the $20 also.
