playing in weekly home game. stakes are 2-5 but most people buy in for 200-300 because there to big of degens to play 1-2 and dont rather gamble and dont understand or comfortable playing deeper.

i have kk on button, after 3limpers (typical)lol i raise to 20. 3 callers of course. flop 8spade8heart10spade. checks to me i make 65$.  bb folds, utg makes it 155. middle position folds. i think for a few and dont think he would raise a 8 (maybe a 8 check raise turn).i jam my last 220 and of course hes forced to call and hits spade on river. “was hoping you didnt have beter then qq and fold there” he says after hand. wouldny you think i was strong cbeting into 3 players im thinking to myself.

do you think its better to check flop and hammer turn so flush draw doesnt make a move like that. what are the times a villian will have a 8 there and how would someone play it?

FML i feel like i should never lose at these games. down 7 buy ins there in a row. last session flopped a set and got jammed on and guy rivvered a gut shot.

I wouldnt be too results oriented. Sounds like a really soft game. The only thing I might do differently is to make my sizing larger preflop. My general rule for live 2/5 is to make it $20 if I am the first to enter the pot and add $5 for each limper. This can obviously change depending on the dynamics of the table but raising to $20 after 3 limpers is almost always gonna go 4 ways to the flop which is gonna create even more variance for you.

Yeah raise bigger pre, but you got a good result on the flop. Your goal shouldn't be to make him fold a flush draw. You aren't going to be able to take luck out of the game, so don't waste your money trying. Just make the best plays that you can and let the chips fall where they may.
