This is my first poker training site and I'm really happy to be here.  I am a father of three kids and a former business executive, but an injury has left me not able to do my old work anymore.  I have played poker casually all of my life, but only started casino and online action at the beginning of the “boom” back in 2004.

I've won a few one-table sng's and came in 2nd at a 90-person live tourney in Vegas last year, but that is about the limit of my tournament experience.  With all of the extra time I have now (and all of the money I DON”T have anymore…lol) I am committed to improving my game and perhaps I can solve the time and money problems with some poker fun!

Being 40 years old, I can see from other posts that one of the first things I will need to learn will be the acronyms and shorthanded “blog-style” writing! ha ha…  Maybe I can enlist the help of a 20-something friend on here who can translate for me when I need it.
