Hey there, Im MsMaryJayne
like everyone else on this forum group im new to TPE and I have a thing for playing poker. I’ve been playing about 3days a week for the last year and feel that youtube videos and twitch just arent enough to help me improve…so here i am! feeling a little bewildered but looking forward to learning some more skills and meeting some groovy people!!

Welcome to the family, I highly recommend starting with TPE University and posting a lot of Hand histories in the forums. WE have thousands of videos to choose from so there wont be a shortage of information to soak in.

Well, we are not all new to TPE who stalk this forum…
I have a question for you? Is MaryJayne your real name or some kind of code for the weed? I used to smoke copious amounts, then progressed right through everything, and I can truly say with my hand on my heart that I wish I had never got started with any of it. If one has a good brain, why would they want to take a substance which makes them stupid? I wish I had thought of things in those terms when I was younger. I guess a recreational thing is fine…but that’s it. The moment you start taking a narcotic because you are stressed, or frightened, or depressed, or because you just can’t stand the tedium of a sober day in a sober mind (I struggle with this to this day)…the moment you start using it to cope…that is the beginning of a very slippery slope.
