Hi, I play under the name EwaN123 at pokerstars. Decided after 12 years of playing it was time to visit a training site.

Im a hobby player that sqeeze in poker when I have the time. Love the game and just want to beat it on a respectable level.

I mostly play MTT on a 40$ avarage buy in.

I learned poker by playing. Never took the time to discuss or study poker. Guess i have som massive leaks in my game and find it hard to beat the game now a days. Just started using HM2 and mostly find it confusing 🙂

Any good advice where to start on this massive information pool ?

I find myself struggling preflop in 3 bet pots out of position lately. Hope to find some good videos on that topic to start with.

The TPE university course is a hood place to start, you can go through from start to finish or just pick and choose the bits you are jnterested in.

As for struggling with 3bets OOP, i would susspect you are calling preflop far to often with medium ranked hands such as KQ, QJ, AT, AJ, 22-77 ect and then missing the flop or finding yourself dominated. There are many other factors to consider such as the stage of the tournament, blind size, stack to pot ratios, player positions, villians 3bet tendencies ect ect This is not a straight forward subject. However, i would suggest you start by seriuosly thinking about the 3bet spot before you respond to it, and make your response more decisive i.e. definitely folding, definitely 4betting, and not just i have a hand i call. If you are going to call try to have some kind on plan in mind for how you are going to play the hand based on certain flop textures anx what you know about billian.

When you are watching videos on here pay attention to how the pros responed to 3 bets.
