Hey guys after the past 3 years travelling im back in Mtl and planning in playing WPT at playground. Havent been ther in a long time anyone ever play previous WPT's there or any tourneys?
Hows the feild?
imo since this is a room is outside the city and dedicated to poker, the quality of play must be better then the casino where Joe anybody go's to play?

I will be there.
I don’t have any experience with WPT events at playground, but I was just there for the million dollar guarantee at the end of August.
Granted it was just an $1100, so the turnout for a 3850 WPT event might be different, but it seemed incredibly soft. I’m not big on stereotypes, but the French Canadians seemed pretty Agro/spewy. My starting table had 2 eliminations level 1 (you start with 300BB) and both were far from cooler situations.
Also this is Canada and party poker is running satellites, so I expect a fair amount of amateurs.
Should be good times, maybe I’ll see you there. I’m planning to play the $1100 and the main, and a bunch of cash

Sweet the games where pretty soft in Mtl back when I used to play but I would play mostly cash at the casino and some tourneys at Snakes. Gonna play a couple satellites starting tonight. See you at the tables !!:)

I know a bunch of my buddies are going out to MTL for it, and I'm still on the fence – will just depend on how my days off line up and what flight prices are. Likely I could only go out for the main event, so it's a costly trip for 1 tournmaent.
However, I have heard only GREAT things about Playground – everything from the service to the games to the softness of play. I know my friends love it, and insist that I should go – this event is setting up to be a premeire one on the calender, with lots of big name players showing up for it. It helps that MTL is one of the best cities to party in as well.
