That does indeed work! I live in my mind, so it's like if I know something is a certain way, then mentally it won't bother me. For ex. we know AA holds up about 80% of the time, so when they get cracked, I just say whelp there goes that 20% part of the time, and it doesn't bother me.

I try to stay in control of my emotions at all time, it helps that I am a more logical person, so emotional tilt rarely happens. My outlook is that variance is the cost of doing business in this game and that if you view it as such it should help to keep you in check.
