Arrgh……been working really hard on my mental game and tilt / anger control. And it’s been going pretty well and seen some good results. Bit man this table of fish I’m sat with tonight in a live game has really got under my skin.

We are on break right now so just taking the opportunity to vent and hopefully clear my head for when I return. I have about 25bbs so a come back is possible but when every hand goes 4 or5ways to the flop regardless of prwflop action I’m gonna have to hit hard to win.

Thanks for listening lol

thats what we are here for!  I find living tilting me way worse than online these days.  I think I’m immune to online tilt now. But live tilts me in the first orbit.  lol.

Cool man. The combination of writing this post and talking to myself on phone voice recorder (as per latest video series) I managed to regain my focus (and some run good) and span my stack up to 110bbs with 2 level left of the day. I then got caught up in a hand that I probably should have mucked on the flop but i chased it and turned a double gutter with flush draw, played it aggro and missed everything lol. Long story short, was down to 16bbs for most of the final level just picking up a few chips here and there to stay above water. Then 15mins from the end in the cutoff with 99 open ripped it, BTN calls with AQs and he flops AAx, I dont improve and am out. However, I wasnt too disappointed as 1) I had managed to turn my mental game around and recover 2) I actually enjoyed playing after that despite a partial miss step and busting lol.

On the up side, I went and played £1/2 cash after busting,  there was a chunk of change on the table, at least £5k between 4 of the players. I bought in for a humble £200, 3 1/2hrs later I walked away with £730 having made enough to cover my tournament buy-ins and expenses and show a small profit.

nice! always good when we can overcome those mental lapses.  won’t always mean wins, but certainly puts us in a better place to do so!
