This has been a problem for me for a while now.  Sometimes I seem to just snap and gamble in a spot that is entirely unimmportant.  I  assume it's some form of tilt but its not always provoked or brought on by bad play.  The only sort off comparible situation would be a golfer going for the green in2 when the most reasonable and optimal play is to lay up.  I get caught up in the short term reward and not the long term risk.  Any feedback would be great.

Thanks

checkraizer1, there is always a reason for these types of behavours. Possibly frustration, boredom or being card dead could be a few possibilities.

I want you to always be aware of what state of mind you are in, or if any of the above states are present during your sessions. Anytime we SNAP, so to speak, is generally a build of some form of emotional state, that finally gets the better of us.

The more awareness you have of how you are feeling RIGHT NOW, will help you to be aware when the alarm bells ring off that triggers these Snaps.

The golfer would generally make these decisions through impatience at trying to MAKE something happen, as opposed to just focusing on one shot at a time and wait for the birdies to come.

Maybe something you might be doing?????

That's the thing.  I really can't put a finger on one thing.  Where there have been certain times that I can say I just got into a ego generated rage, this little thing happens at times when I've been playing well.  It could be boredom.  I'm gonna watch myself more closely and see if it is something that pops up after i've been playing alot in one session.  But to be safe i'm making myself use the clock a bit more.  Hopefully this helps to make me less reactionary.  Thanks for the insight.
