Hello!

Just working on my target for value, wondering if I should bet or slowplay this:

Flop: (14,000) Ac Ts Kc (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets 14,000, Hero raises to 16,596 and is all-in,

UTG+2 calls 2,596

Turn: (47,192) 9d (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Final Board: Ac Ts Kc 9d 2d
Hero showed Kd Kh and won 47,192 (24,771 net)

Not sure I can target low pocket pair, thoughts?

I don’t mind leading this flop and targeting all his one pair w combo draws. We don’t block any Ace hands… If this is a tighter villain this will smack his range. If you donk like,  4k,  you can get people to spazz some small pairs perhaps?  You’re also gonna get stacks in these small buy ins when V has hands like AQ AK AJ A10 and wigs out. Hell I’ve seen crazier things than KQ just blasting off on these boards.   The one thing you’re not gonna get by leading 4k is have many hands fold.

And one more thing. Maybe Andrew would agree but I’m certainly not putting words in his mouth… Is… Thinking back to his series Value series. We shouldn’t be targeting how to make nickels off of a small PP, we should really want to target hands we can stack and how to go about doing that.

Yeah, I am studing Andrew´s Getting Value series, this was one of the hands that I filter for pots that I won, and was looking for hands that I should choose better my targets laugh

Was thinking about ranges on this one, but SPR is like 1, I wasn´t sure on how to play it, Ax probably doesn´t matter, if I check V may spazz a small pocket pair.

At the time I have played it, I don´t think I have consider my target too much to be honest, I guess I slowplayed it for V to shove because the SPR being so low.

I think checking and betting small on this flop are both fine, you end up getting it in versus more or less the same range. You only have a roughly 1:1 SPR so as long as you end up getting it all in somehow, not much can go wrong. If you bet, make it no more than around 3.5k.
