The shortstack shove is so small on the flop that you need to raise, make it anywhere between 5-8k for people to continue. Once the queen hits I think you need to check down, it’s going to be hard to get many calls from single pairs. Maybe check-call a bet on the river but I wouldn’t hate just folding to any further bets.

That’s a great way to look at it. I should have raised the flop. There’s just so many players in the pot, I felt like I had 0% FE.

You’re right, not much FE on such a board, but we don’t need folds to justify raising. The flop is our best chance to extract value from diamonds, numerous gutshots, and Jx/Tx/9x.
