Hi

This hand occures during the winamax series, the equivalent of the SCOOP but on winamax (a french room). This is the second events, a 20€ 6 max. We are about 2000 left (6500 at the begining) so still far from the money. Vilain is new to my table so I only have 15 hands on him, seems pretty laggish. The only read I have on him is this hand (he is CL of the tourney at this moment):

First, are you 2 barreling this turn? Maybe it's better to X and value the river? By 2 barreling I'm probably making him fold hands like 5x, 4x, 66 to TT, etc so maybe checking is better but I think there is value in betting too (67, Jx, A3dd, A2dd…)

Second, what are you doing vs his minraise? Looks really nutsy. I think he plays the same way with JQ, 55, 44. Could also be a float with AQ or KQ. Don't see him bluffing with this sizing, and if it's value I'm probably behind. Are you folding? Calling and call or fold on a river bet?

What is your image over the 15 hands?  this is fairly important imo.

As played this is a tricky spot.  Its hard to know what somone will do this with, and you are either marginally ahead of his range or way behind I probably end up folding but that seems really gross.

In game I probably check here a decent perecentage of the time, as I do expect him to float as CL sometimes.  This will allow him to bluff.

Knowing your image at the table will help a lot though.

Hi,

As I said he was at my table since 15 hands only, my image was standard I guess, just have opened 2 hands before this one and won the blinds. I don't know if he can be tilting after loosing the big pot…

ur range shud look on the stronger side so he shudnt be bluffing too often but doods just click raise when they have chips. i like to chk turn though since hes floating alot on flop so im willing to c/c turn and most rivers. as played, hes repping 44/55 and QJ/KQ. I have a hard time folding turn against him though…..and otr, i might throw out a block.
