What was your target on each street?

Note: They should be different. You should assume that the hands you’re targeting with the check-raise will fold the flop, so when you bet again on the turn, there needs to be a new, presumably stronger hand that you think he will fold.

Thanks, Andrew. That’s kind of the conclusion I came to last night after thinking about this. What I was thinking was that the fold equity would only be useful if I knew my opponent was capable of folding Top Pair. On the contrary, if villain isn’t folding Top Pair, it would be best to play accordingly.

Also, I guess it’s worth mentioning, if villain isn’t folding TP, I guess we have a lot of implied odds should we hit our flush, although, not necessarily. But if we have something like two pair or a set we can almost expect to get paid.
