A bunch of limpers to me on the button so I just flat. Is my line okay here – should I have bet less on the river? How should I have played it to extract the most from the table?

Thanks

I'd raise it up PF and play a pot in pos against fewer people with a hand that is ahead of everyone's limp range.  Once you limp you basically have to hit a flush or AT to feel good about putting money in the pot because the ranges are so wide for all the other players it will likely lead to someone flopping big.

As played i like the river bet because you're just not getting called that often but when you do it's by someone who has a flush as well and won't lay it down to a large bet size.

Flop raise looks fishy like you already have a big hand. I see no reason to do it. Just call and hope others come for the ride or hope someone else raises as a bluff or semi-bluff.

I def just limp along if I'm you.  You can def raise but with relatively deep stacks I prefer to see as many hands as possible for as cheaply as possible.

I also probably raise a bit more on the flop because of the texture this board brings.  If he has a Q he is going to try to protect it against you drawing to the nut flush.  By raising more on the flop, you have an opportunity to bet more on the turn and river and build a bigger pot.  His bet of 100, in relation to the pot, is not that big.  We can def make it 400 and make more money on our hand.

As played though, I think it's an overall good hand.  The river is going to kill your action regardless of what you really do.  You're just hoping he has a king high flush and calls off your river bet.

I agree here his lead is weak I dont put him on a strong hand I would be affraid if we raise more than we did in this hand everyone would fold. I like letting others hang around in this pot by just calling. If a set is in the hand he will let us know and raise behind use and we could play accordingly.

You need to build the pot.  You have to hope he has a queen here or puts us on the naked ace of spades to make money on the hand, anyway.

I guess I didnt feel we could get that many streets of value…meh I see what your saying though Wein. If they arent willing to call chips on the flop they probably arent willing to on the turn.
