I left the results out. I will post if you ask. I was doing a hand reading exercise and this one was really fun! Give it a shot if you like ranging your opponents street-for-street based on actions. I know it’s a multi-way pot at first but you can still range villain after everyone else folds.

I’m giving the villain a slightly loose/passive HJ overcall range of QQ-55,AQs-A9s,KTs,QTs,J9s,T9s,98s,AQ,AJ,KQ. I’ll start by ranging postflop as if this were a HU pot, so I have her continuing with all pockets other than 55, all Ax, all FDs, and Kx BDFDs (KQ-KT, KQx) which is 61.3% frequency.

Using the new filters you showed me on Flopzilla that range is 57.89% unimproved pairs, 10.53% flush draws, 10.53% BDFD, 10.53% worse trips, 5.26% chops, and 5.26% boats. Weird breakdown as it’s literally 3 or 6 combos of every category if you consider each PP separately. After the turn, that becomes 5 flushes, 6 boats (88/66), 3 Nut FDs, 9 strong pockets (QQ/JJ), 6 weak pockets+FD (TT/99), 6 worse trips, 3 chops (which we are freerolling), and 15 folding combos (all of which are 2 outers or dead).

It seems villain will continue with 38 of 53 combos, only 11 of which are ahead of us. Not saying that I disagree with it, but I’m curious, why did you check the turn? Regardless, after villain raises the river we can obviously assume a very tight range. She could reasonably want to GII with any boat considering the flush on board (9 combos) and, although it’s thin, I think we will often see at least KJ/KT flushes raise. It would be pretty suicidal to raise (let alone raise/call) trips, and non-nut flushes should probably fold after they get 3bet on the river.

So I’ll give them AQ,QQ,88,66,KJ/KT flushes. Or just AsXc for the sicko ‘soul-read’ play.
