Sat'd into the PS 250K. Could not get anything going at all. First in from middle w KTo. Opened the pot two hands in a row a couple of orbits ago to no calls. I was running 16/14 thru about 100 hands.

Thought about folding, shoving too, but opted to make standard raise bec nobody called me before.

greener_tree was running 23/23, 20 hands but hadn't 3 bet squeezed yet. Getting great odds but I'm never ahead here, right?  Do I have to call here anyway because of stack issues?

you need to put in 1852 to win a pot of 4902.  It's not really the magic 2-1 where you kinda have to call.  I'd fold because no one is shoving light against a guy with your stack size who opens so i'd expect him to show up with a strong range.

However, opening here is a huge leak, imo.  If you're going to do anything just shove.  Pre ante though I'd just fold it with 4 to act.

You can't raise/fold this stack ever.

you will see a huge turnaround in your game if you avoid this situation entirely negative ev written all over it. 100% fold pre. with your stack 1st in aggressor is optimal. no one is folding to a 3 bet with your stack

Thanks — Def have a prob w/ K-To first fr mp in w a trouble stack.

Ended up folding here. If I saw someone else do this I would make a note of them being a bad player. I attribute this poor play by not having a solid plan before the hand played out. When I'm playing my A game I get prepared before the hand starts by going over in my mind what my actions will be if certain hands pop up.
