This isn't meant to be a glib answer.

Sign up and get familiar with ICMIZER. It's perfect for questions like these once you learn how to use the tool.

Against a wide range of let's say 41.2% (22+,A2s+,K5s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T7s+,97s+,86s+,65s,A2o+,K7o,Q8o,J9o,T9o,98o,87o) we have 52.835% equity. We need 42.06% to break even on a call from a cEV perspective so a call seems good in this case. However, since we lose 47.165% of the time, I would start to think more about how the chips gained could effect me moving forward vs pretty much busting out in either 7th or 6th. Also, if you call and win you immediately move up a pay jump, which pushes me towards a call. The 52.835% of the time that we move up to 16BBs and into 2nd place out of 6 would also push me towards a call.

To work out ICM we can use holdemresources.net. …..38;s7=9479

This suggests KQo is a call… but that's if SB is shoving 78.6%.

ok i cant find the rest of the hh i was planning on posting after a few replies. but i do remember what happened he shoved with j8o, i wouldnt of thought he was shoving 78% though but i mean with kq and my stack as i said i figure im miles ahead of his range and a clear call if say it was k9o i may find a fold and just shove wide myself from late pos instead. thanks for all the replies appreciate it.
