IGT rant - lets get to work

Strangely enough.. the only thing that sets any good poker player apart from a bad one. is WORK. Like any game/sport/activity, the only way to improve or to get to a higher level in anything is to put the work in. Review hands, watch others play, turn on twitch, subscribe to a poker training site, BE SO CRITICAL OF YOUR OWN PLAY… that you would rather die than play badly. I know, i know… you are going to say it’s just a game… Well while you are playing that “game”, i’ve put in 15 hours of study this week and i’m currently manufacturing a heater. Say it together everyone “Poker is my life and I will be damned if I dont eat sleep and breathe poker”… Lets get to work boys. – your boy IGT

Haha I like it anyways! Am working and working and watching and playing and watching and working. Sometimes I feel like I’ve “got it” and then other times I feel like I’ve gone right back to the start. Maybe some day it will just click. Like you said Just keep working.
