I like folding pre here.

I like checking, plan to raise if it's just one guy, but probably not when it's two.

Any reads on these guys?

hiperspan might be cbetting with air here into a way 4 pot, but I think he often gives up unless he has a flush draw, overpair, or set.  I'd probably put khogar on definitely draw, overpair, or set.  You are behind any flush draw or set, but ahead of overpair.  There's about 5500 in the pot after pre-flop action, so if you and hiperspan both call, that makes about 12500.  I would probably flat here, assuming that your 6 non-diamond straight outs are golden and the 9 diamond outs are good a decent amount of the time.  Folding doesn't seem terrible either.  Shoving seems really bad, as I doubt these guys are folding better flush draws or sets ever, and might just fold 99-QQ, which you want to stay in the hand.

ok first off i thought about folding pre but when there was a raise and 2 more flat calls i thought this is the exact spot you want with suited connectors other than i didnt have position, i was getting 5 to 1 on the call pre flop on flop pot was 5920 and after tiny c bet and raise made the pot 9078 so my thinking was the pot is 9078 i have 12k behind and an up and down straight flush draw so it seemed like a shove to me.the plan was check shove the flop reasons being i check everyone else may check and i get a free card or i check someone bets and i shove, after i shove even if the bettor on the flop folds once or twice this is hugely ev+ and when i do get called i got a ton of outs.

maybe worth saying it was a big antes mtt. also i stoved my hand v this range 88-jj,55,22,AdTd,KdQd,QdJd and i have 48.28% against that range. i felt QQ,KK,AA would 3 bet pre flop and even if they are in his range im doing even better i am 50.59% with QQ,KK,AA in his range aswell.

That's a fine range to put them on, but what if they are folding their over pairs when you 3 bet?  Suddenly you are getting it all in when you are behind, but only winning what is in the pot when you are ahead.  Given the multi-way nature of this pot, I think most people could lay down at least 99 and TT, maybe not JJ.

even if his range is only sets 88,55,22 im still 42.12% against that range, and look at all that dead money in the middle.

standard chk/jam to me.

very unlikely that early in a $3 comp that overpairs are folding here and even muppets with AK will call as they think they are AA.

imo you did nothing wrong…. call pre standard with your stack and the action…. chk/jam flop standard… he has a set and you brick…. well that's standard for me!!! UL dude…

Good point, I missed how much dead money there is, you are definitely getting it in fine even when you're behind.

would have loved to see an aggro 3bet here, but as played i think you have to play it as a check/shove. we're much happier if its just hiperspan or one other bettor but i still dont think id fold if i was in this spot.  making it like 3500-4k would prob win this a bunch of the time in a low buy in tournament.
