Hey guys, first post of many, so I’m just throwing up what I flagged today.. Thanks for your feedback and wisdom.

SO I only had 9 hands of history on the V, and pretty much had my hands tied stack-size-wise by the turn.

Standard fold? Standard raise all-in? Any other moves I should have made or not made?

Thanks again. wokka wokka!

Interesting spot, thanks for posting it. I would suggest playing this hand a bit differently. At the flop, the pot is over $1000 and you have less than $3000 remaining in your stack, so you should probably be looking to stack off with top pair. To accomplish that, I would check the flop instead of donk betting, as the PFR (or possibly even UTG limper) can bet a lot of their range, and stacks are very nice to put in a check-shove. If everyone folds, you’ll win about half your stack without a fight. And there are plenty of worse hands that can call, including hands like 99 that assume you’re weighted to draws here.

Ahh yes yes, stack-to-pot ratio.. I was way too committed and over-thought the spot into a nit-fold.

Thank you Collin!

Not a fan of the flop lead, in the BB you can never really have a range advantage so you pretty much just have to check a lot here. I think check-call and check-raise to get it in are both fine.

On turn as played, I don’t like the bet – your hand is now middle-strength, and as a result you rarely get called by worse or get better to fold. I think check-call turn is better here.
