I fold UTG has some kind of hand and then for CO to jam he has probably AQ+ 99+, such a huge risk for half your stack when you dont need to.

I would lay it down here.  You have to many all-in people and even though the pot looks great, I would say at least one of them have you beat. With that many people in the pot as well the chance someone hits the flop, turn and river against you increases. I think you made the right call by letting it go.

Right on.. Unfortunately, it would have been my flop. The original raise and reraise were j k and 77. The sb was holding queens. I guess it is the right fold either way though. Thanks

nice lay. with 79 bbs let the little stacks have at it. in most cases we're contributing to some1's stack if we make this call. good play.

yeah the flop is completely meaningless and you really have to do your best to not think about it.

I'm on my way out and don't have time to run the ranges through pokerstove, but my instincts are telling me that this spot is REALLY close. i mean, i'd be really surprised if JJ were a fold and wouldn't think twice about folding 99.

FWIW because this is a spot where you're calling 2 shoves and there's a side pot the math is actually much more complicated than the very simple calculation when calling one shove.

I wouldn't stress over it too much, though, considering how close it is, and in an MTT where you have a pretty solid edge on your table and a nice stack you don't really have to get involved here.

Editing because I mis-read the hand here. I think I make the call with TT and it's marginal and very read dependent. I definitely make it with JJ. 88 and 99 I fold in this spot all day.
