Hey,

Im currently playing a 3.30 1.5k gaurenteed on Pstars. theres 270 players left and 96 are paid. I have been playing like a super nit and now the the ante’s have started my plan was to loosen up and start stealing. But Im 3rd in chips and have a 100 bb stack. Is it acceptable to continue to nit it up if you can maintain 50+ or 60+ bb?

Thanks

Tastyyy

unless you have short-stacks in your “line-of raise” that will thwart your stealing plans i cannot fathom why you wouldn’t want to further build your stack. open it uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppp imo.

I understand that stealing can be +EV. But I find in these small stakes I often get called and if I have a premium hand and there is someone raising before me I cant steal unless Im shoving. At low stakes when people have decided that they will go into a hand it seems they will stop at nothing.  Busted just before the bubble KK vs QQ opponent spiked a queen on the river, would’ve made me 2nd in chips.

yea i was actually gonna add a line about you being more likely to get flatted by akward stacks in a 3.3 than in the videos you see here but was too lazy.

if you get flatted you’ll hopefully be in position and can try and outplay them postflop. you would really have to lucksack a sick run of cards to be able to nit an entire mtt up and win it. i mean it isnt unheard of but you know what i mean.

also i dont know why i am in here answering, i hope nobody minds. just thought your post was interesting, i have been know to be too nitty mid-late too and am trying hard to stop
