How do we approach qualifiers near the bubble? This is a $60 + $6 sat for a $500 + $30 WSOP super satellite. I am ~ 7th in chips and there are 27 players left with 25 seats available. Villain is playing 5/5 and just got his stack after being short. He is the exact type of person we would steal on in a normal MTT in the spot below.  It’s late, I am going to bed as soon as this ends. I have the 3 tables open and predictably everybody is timebanking to get a seat. Should I be passing up +ev spots given my seat is pretty much a lock at this time or should I still be stealing and trying to reduce others stacks to speed this thing up?

Absolute/UB Cereus Hold’em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) – Absolute/UB Cereus Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

MP2 ($4579)

MP3 ($8603)

CO ($10102)

Button ($2702)

Hero (SB) ($9393)

BB ($6388)

UTG ($6639)

UTG+1 ($9521)

MP1 ($6847)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6, 5

7 folds, Hero raises to $9293 (All-In),

This is a little difficult because I dont see what the blinds are etc. But given the fact there there is only 2 spots left to getting a seat you defenetly have to pass up ev spots. If your 7th in chips and you have this seat on lockdown. Just click fold for the next 15 hands and collect your seat. I wouldnt be shoving this here.

+1  nothing to gain by trying to speed up the tourney, its not like your moving up in payouts. Risk to reward….you risk being knocked out and getting nothing, your reward is your done 20 minutes sooner.

yeah, if I have my seat locked and I have AA and I see that he has 72o I still probably fold.  You’ve already won.  You have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Thanks for the replys. I shoved he called with QQ, but luckily I managed to get my seat in 25th place. (starting soon) I actually passed up JJ utg earlier for the reasons you suggested, I guess I got impatient or tired of passing up what I know to be good spots usually.
