I think a shove is fine there.

A shove isn't terrible, but it somewhat turns your hand into a bluff, as nothing you're doing better than flipping against is ever calling you there. I prefer a raise to about 4x given the limper and the fact that you're OOP, then a c-bet on most flops. This will win you more chips in the long run than just shoving and taking it down then and there (usually, except for when you run into a sneaky button limper with a monster).

I don't like the shove there with 24 bb's standard pop and play post flop.

not a fan of shoving here…….as said before…..std raise then cbet seems to be more profitable than a 24bb bluff with like a 150 chips.

Std open and play post-flop. Only 75 chips in the middle. Even if you get all folds it achieves nothing. You've gone from 24.5 BB to 26 BB pre-antes.

yeah with good sized antes I think it is okay in a 3dollar but without I think its bad, just make it 4.5x-5x

I gotta agree that shoving here is goofy. I am trying to think what worse hands would call me and pay me off with this play and I am not coming up with anything worse calling me and mostly stuff that is crushing me or I'm racing with calling me. I'd put in a standard raise +1BB for limper and +1BB for OOP and then see what can be done postflop. I would wager that a c-bet is going to take down the pot a lot in general and give better results in the long run. Do to your stack size you may end up picking up more value in the long run since a lot of players don't give short stacks a lot of credit at this level and just assume you are married to something in your hand and will play all the way so a TP/TK or TP/strong kicker could net you a tremendous amount of extra value by playing post flop.

I didn't think about that as viable option, but given the two limps we should be ahead of the ranges enough that a re-pop would work. I love these forums!
