Earlier this month on Day 2 of the WPT Montreal Main Event $3300, you start with 30K and I ran my stack up to 90K to end Day 1. Christian Harder, Ebony Kenney, Michael Linster and a few other good player on my table to start Day 2. The player im playing against is Michael Linster who has been playing pretty aggressive and just doubled up a couple orbits ago by shoving 30bb on the turn with a straight draw flush draw getting looked up and getting there. Second level of the day blinds 800/1600 and im now down to 54K after getting coolered and losing a couple small pots, and its folded around to me in the SB and I get dealt ATos. I open to 3900 and Michael Linster 3bets me in the BB to 10,250. Best move for hero sitting on ~33bb???

Not sure if we have ATo or ATs, but I'd shove either way. Never folding here vs an aggressive player, but I don't think there is room to click it back to induce because then he will get a great price to peel with some of his 3b bluffs. Calling is an option, but you would need to be prepared to hero call a lot which isn't easy with this spr.

I've never played a live tourney this big, but I think a 4bet jam is almost standard here. If that's what you did, I don't think you should feel too bad about it.

Agree, easy 4bet shove with just ~30BB stack and aggr BB player. Dont like to click it back.. Would be ugly, if he makes it tricky and just call and u have ugly stack for cbetting. If u just flat, u have to play OOP.

If u just 4bet jam, he even might hero calling with weaker ace or hands like KQ… I would have tanked a bit looks it a bit weaker and jam his 3bet

I've played with Mike a few times and he can be super aggro as you said.  I give him the pile.  Can't just call.  I wouldn't hate a fold, but Mike could have anything from 57o to A9cc to AA……
