I’ve decided it’s no longer in my best interest to keep up my subscription at TPE. I’ve gained a lot from my membership, but with a new job I rarely have time for poker and I feel like most of the videos have only one or two gems of concepts that I’m not familiar with.

My plan is to spend my poker time divided between playing and doing my own analysis of hands, as well as reading some of the free articles on a few sites. I haven’t spent enough time doing mathematical analysis, because I’ve felt that I was “behind” watching videos, so I think cancelling my membership will be a good incentive to doing my own work.

I love the TPE podcasts and will continue listening to those (I have a long commute so it doesn’t cost me any time), and might rejoin in the future.

Thanks for everything! It’s only by being a member for so long that I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t find many of the hand histories/live sweats useful for me. Keep up the good work!
