I have been playing for a while now and I was wondering about rakeback.  What is a good place to sign up for rakeback?  Can I still sign up even though I have had an account for a while now?  I'm just curious if someone can provide a little insight to how to get started in getting a rakeback.

Thanks,

If you have an existing account that does not get Rakeback then you are unfortunately unable to get Rakeback.  Full Tilt seems to be slowly giving out Rakeback accounts to people. but it seems VERY slow.

You should email Full Tilt support and request it though anyway.

One alternative some people have been using (including me) is that I already had a non-Rakeback UB account, so I opened a rakeback AP account (will have to be a different name than your UB account) and transferred my balance from UB to myself on AP.  So now i get access to the exact same tourneys, etc. but I get rakeback now.

And of course there are alot of other rooms you can get rakeback on (Cake, Victory, Doyles Room, etc).

You can sign up for Rakeback through these (and other) rooms here:

…..eredge.com

**Note that you dont use your TPE username and password for the rakeback program, you have to create a new username and password.

i have an existing tilt account and managed to get rakeback on there.

what you need to do is sign send your account name to rakebackpros i think it is. not 100% sure but i think thats what they are called. (search 2p2 and you can find it, im too lazy)

then you kinda get put on a waiting list.

i signed up, then played for a little bit without rakeback, then ended up getting rakeback on cake and playing there for a while, whilst basically not playing at all on tilt. then lo and behold i get rakeback on tilt. so i guess they saw that i wasn't playing much on there anymore.

rakeback is great for cash games but tbh its not that great for tourneys unless you are mass multitabling SNGs. still worth it if you can get it of course
