I am pleased to announce the new TPE pros – Cougars4444 and ttwist. They should not be new names for regular forum users as they are regular contributors to the forum. We didn't mention this but they have been “auditioning” for the role for the past few weeks and the criteria included not only video excellence but forum contributions as well. These guys have passed our criteria with flying colors.
When we decided to add new pros, we could have gone a couple of ways (we had interest from big name high stakes players) but instead, we wanted to focus on finding players who are living in the the low to midstakes games that our members are focused on. We think this brings more value to you guys.
These guys crush those games and they are great at explaining the concepts behind them. I'm extremely excited about adding them. We are currently working with them on their first video series and should see their release in the next few weeks.

Also, I am the worst poker player alive. If you can make me win, you should ask for a raise.

TTwist, I am really looking forward to your videos. I too am a father of two(5yo boy, 3yo girl). I work about 60hrs a week, spend time with them and keep my wife happy also. Really curious as to how you balance being a tourny pro with those kind of responsibilites. Right now poker provides me with fun money. The thought has crossed my mind about doing this full time, but the thought of my family relying on my poker success stresses me out and I am afraid I wouldnt love my hobby anymore.

Much respect for truly thinking about the site and the members before the glory that may have come along with bringing in big name high stakes players. I think it's awesome what you are doing with the site and I am excited about the new TPE pros and seeing what kind of knowledge they have to offer from the low to mid stakes tournament arena.

Welcome new TPE Pros. Love the fact that TPE didn't just add huge name high stakes players and are focusing on low / mid stakes players which is EXACTLY what I wanted.:)

Awesome! Good to have you guys aboard. More Pros equals more videos and forum feedbacks, always a plus.

The more pros the better, helps with a variety of playing styles. I see it has been a couple weeks since the announcment, was wondering when we can start to see some videos from them? I would have thought you would have had intro videos ready to go out of the box.

Hey the first new pro video will be up after Casey's Micro series. We couldn't hold off announcing because we wanted to let the new guys take a more active role in the forums asap.
