The only reason I choose to download videos instead of streaming is so I can play them at 1.25x-1.5x speed (I use VLC Player).  I've seen other streaming video service add this feature, mainly YouTube and Coursera (it's a free online college-style educational site; you might think of it as the TPE of math and science).  It would be nice for TPE streams to have this feature.

I saw the title and came to comment that you can use vlc haha. Very happy to see the tech adept knew of that feature on media players (and then use the best haha). Marc's voice on 1.5x is hilarious.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion….if our video provider (JW player) offers it we'll definitely implement it.  They are really good about new features so it could happen.

i watch some videos on 1.7x. especially daryl jace and ben warrington haha. 

 

marc alioto and brokos sound more chipmunks at that speed though, so usually 1.3-1.5 can work
