No one is in the chat at present, so I thought I'd post here. RonFezBuddy and I are at the same table in the final two tables of the nightly 10K. He is 16th and I am the CL, but would be nice if we could both make the FT.

RFB got his double up–in the most unlikeliest of fashions! Shoved pre K-9s called by A-Q flop A-J-4, turn K river– wait for it– the magic 9! He is now 8th and I am second with 16 left.

I made it, but RFB was the FT bubble. Could have cruised in, but was going for chips shving the button J-10 called by A-7 which crippled him. wp Ron Fez Buddy!

Sorry if i missed anything in the chatbox.  I got 3rd in the 109/5k at the same time so I wasn't paying much attention the chat.  Decent night overall 🙂

 

I think i'm fine with both of those button shoves given how short i was on both…i don't care about being FT bubble boy when 9th doesn't pay that much more and I need chips to win.

Congrats on the 5K! And I agreed that both shoves were clearly optimal. Feel bad that you couldn't FT since you would have had an edge over most everyone there (not much in the way of regs).
