Hey TPE!

I would love to study more, but I sit down at my PC and I’m like. Well fuck. Should I watch another TPE video? should I go through my hand histories? Where should I start? What homework should I do? I wonder how the pros structured their study time when they were coming up? What did they study, and in what order did they study things? How can I get the most out of my studying time?

Is there videos on this, and if there isn’t… Can there be? It would really really help to have some sort of study path, and TPE U fills that to a certain degree and has a place, but it doesn’t really show me how to optimise my time away from the table.

All my love and appreciation, Josh.

Let us not forget the amazing TPE University. Ground Up learning and than your electives. Get through that (even if you think you may know some of it) and you will come out with a noticeable edge. Personally I DO believe it IS structured in a way that provided all the things your lokking for but that is IMHO. There are so many other resources out there that it’s hard to list them all but Peter ‘Carroters’ Clarke – The Grinder’s Manual is a damn fine learning resource. I KNOW it is designed with the 6-MAX cash player in mind but believe me when I tell you that it really is a great resource for MTT players as well. Also refining your chart memorization, ALWAYS keeping sharp with your “poker math” and tweaking/getting the most out of any software tools you may use really helps. Last bet absolutely NOT LEAST I find that watching the TRULY GREATS (we all know who they are at the moment the rarefied air type shit MTT players) play things like the SHRB (5 is going on now), Poker Masters, Triton/EPT/WPT events (YouTube) and watching them the same way you would watch a tutorial video is GREAT! In fact check the forums for the recent post on HOW to study and read said article just applied to the latter.

Hope you find this helpful and your study/game keep improving,
