You said he’s been really active at the table. Do you think betting around 1/3 pot on the river once you make the wheel would ever get him to jam a 9 on you?
Or do you think he just calls down and that’s why you bet big?

yeah i just felt that with his timing on flop/turn he was calling river almost always.
in fact, looking at the hand now, i really don’t like my turn barrel. i just don’t think he folds enough, and probably doesn’t fold the river enough either for bet/bet/betting to be +EV.
as played if i got cute at all it would be overbet-shoving the river, not betting tiny to induce.
