great vid TTWIST. Sorry to see that call at the end would have liked to see you get really deep here.

What i always tell myself when i see ‘shit poker’ is that if it wasnt for people willing to limp call 20bb with K10o then poker wouldnt be half as profitable.

Sometimes the donk has to win since if he never did, he wouldn’t come back and contribute to the prize pool. Unfortunatley this was one of those times that you were on the wrong end.

Just another day in the life of a micro.
Two things I tell myself are,
He has flicked in 2 bucks for the dream and he can play that 2 bucks anyway he wants.
    and
If it wasn’t for people like him there would be no money in poker.

It still sux the big one though.

Great vid TTWIST, Since you asked the TPE nation to comment on the hand around the 13 minute w A9o where you flopped a str8 draw, here are my thoughts. I like the bet on the flop after he checked and the check on the turn to entice a lead on the river. However in looking at it after the fact, although he does bet strong on the river (but still less than pot), and he checked on a 678 very wet flop, I think its super unlikely he holds 66, 77, 88 or TT, and I would be awful if he limp called PF and called on flop with T8, T7 and T6 (although I’ve seen worse) for the boats and quads hands that can beat you. So a raise was in order :). I do get the point of preserving the tournament life this early over afew more chips but you also need to build a stack don’t you?

DISCLAIMER: you asked us to “stick it to the man” so I did, I know its much easier said after the fact and obv you are a better player.

    Hey Twist,

    I have a question:

Top right corner at 30/60, there is a 2.5x from a bad EP followed by 2 other flats. You are in the small blind for 30 with A3s.

Is it spewy to over call in this position with a suited connecting Ace while blinds are so small and we are getting over 4 to 1 on a call or is it more trouble than its worth ?

Find myself doing this from time time and is a possible leak.

    Enjoyed the vid.

    Cheers.
