Comments on Tableninja – I think you are right to be honest. Sometimes it makes me want to click fold much earlier than i should be, you mentioned a couple of times about auto clicking fold, and i do that when i shouldnt a few times.
On the bottom right table i also fold down a TON.
One of the biggest leaks in my game is not paying attention to my own stack size sometimes. Usually my thought process includes the other people’s stack sizes a lot, but i dont look at my own sometimes, especially when i get super short. So i agree with all of your comments regarding that, and will just say that they were unconscious decisions to fold them rather than conscious decisons. still a massive leak but not for the reason you are mentioning.
on the top right with that rebuy, it is slightly weird in that it is a rebuy hyper turbo essentially. 5 minute blinds, and the blinds go up super fast. at the end of the rebuy period, a single rebuy is less than 1bb. Then at the end of the rebuy period you get to have 3 addons for 10k in chips!
So once i got significantly above average, it was worth it to tighten up a bit, just because if you get shorter nearing the end it is pretty much rebuying every hand if you dont. does that make sense?

Yeah, I see what you mean about that rebuy structure, I didn’t realise it was so crazy. That is a really odd structure, it’s like an even more extreme version of the 1r 3x turbos on Stars.
I think one of the things that has been most important for me to realise lately in my own game is that every single decision you make has to be conscious. It’s not enough to rely on your unconscious knowledge of the game, because even if you’re a good player, you’re effectively surrendering to variance. So it’s definitely important to minimise auto-pilot as much as possible.

yeah i definitely agree with that. Usually i can handle 8 tables pretty easily (had a couple off screen most of the time) but i think when i was also recording and commenting on my play it was too much. was certainly autopiloting on that turbo on the bottom right and you could see how bad that was given how often i was folding when i had 4bb
