Hi Alex… that vey last hand where we raised late with AJ and got called out of the blinds, flop came A82, you said bet small on flop and go for 3 streets…. what do you think about checking back flop? I will at times do that on dry boards with top pair without top kicker.

I played this tournament live on Twitch, so for awhile, my in-game thoughts were available on video, but that stream has since been taken down. I might be able to find it on my hard drive if someone wants to know bad enough.
I love Alex’s analysis. This is one of the best times I’ve had watching a video because it reminds me of how cool it was to live with him. Excellent coach, very entertaining, and an all around great person and friend.
That said, I am a mediocre poker player. Any rumor of my poker talent is a myth. So the only point of contention I will make about his analysis is that he trained me well which means I use my HUD data a lot. He didn’t have that during his review. That’s the source of most of our differences in this hand history along with my access to population tendencies which he mentions he does not have on this site.
Even with that, some of my plays were just bad. But thanks to my brother from another mother, I will get better. Man, this is such a fun series.
