At 12:30 you talk about the AKo hand where you get it in. Are you always calling his cold 5bet here? cause the guy has a lil over 80bbs and unless you have a read on him I don’t think you’re going to induce him to shove AQ or 99 with that many bbs. I just think you’re crushed or flipping every time and you have 100bbs if you were to minr/f. I do like the minr instead cause you can get away from it if he decides to 5bet jam. It was just that you talk about evaluating if he did decide to 5bet and I don’t think it’s much of a evaluation to make. just wanted some clarification. thanks.

    Excellent as always.

Not sold on the KJs hand where you check back the A-high flop IP…you say you want to keep in hands you dominate to induce them to bluff…but that’s only relevant if we’re calling bets on future streets. And are we really trying to make hero calls in that spot? It just seems simpler to CB take it down, doesn’t it?

I was annoyed that I missed his stack when I shoved..100% would prefer to min raise and evaluate if he did cold 5bet…With no information/history I agree that it is most likely a fold as we are flipping or crushed but I always want to give myself the chance to gain information and evaluate as opposed to blindly over-shoving and hoping we don’t run into a monster.

Yes this hand annoyed me as well; I decided to check behind a hand for value on the flop to induce bluffs and then changed my mind on the turn and folded to a bet…I agree that a simple Cbet on the flop would be the preferred line in spots like this.
