Hey Cory cool vid, at first I was turned off by the hole cards exposed format but really like what you did with it. FWIW you can actually import Bovada hands and replay them in HM2 and PokerTracker 4 using the “Bovada Hand History Converter” software which converts them to stars format.

Great video! I like the way you explain each hand in-depth, it reminds me of how many podcast hands are analyzed. The exposed hole cards adds a new dimension that seems to put the viewer in the hand too. I think this can help my mid to end game play.

-with 12.5 bb with A3d vs a 2.5x open at 6 handed on final 2 tables, I feel like its really close. And my philosophy is, when in doubt, throw it out, bc we have similar styles in that we will find better spots and have SS ninja skills. lol

thanks bud! i def think the hole cards being exposed makes it more interesting to talk about, specifically in the endgame of a Bovada series

the only problem with that theory is you’re always looking for a reason to fold instead of reasons to call…its No limit ‘HOLD EM’ for a reason!! ;P

i would not 3 bet shove with that a3, it works sometimes but when your called your almost always in a terrible spot. seems like with the way people are playing you can def find better spots

With the 84s hand when you raise the button and the bb has 5BB, what do you do when he shoves? There would be 37500 in the pot and you would have to call 16k, seems like you would be priced in to call

naw I would still be raise/folding. I don’t mind risking 2bbs in a good spot to pick up the blinds an antes but to raise then call off another 4-5bbs, and lose, would put me at 10bbs and then I can’t really do anything but push/fold at that point. I know it seems minimal but having that extra 4bbs to work with is huuuge at this stage of a trny. Not to mention you don’t risk doubling up the shortest stack when it’s not needed an you can just fold and preserve chips. No need to gamble and leave it up to variance w/ 2 tables left. Sometimes the chips you have are more precious than the ones you think you need to gain, and the play is to just fold.
