lol funny how you said that you play for win and you just folded AJs with 20 bigs against standart UTG open with only 2 players behind

jeez danny you missed a ton of spots at the final table. I mean 5 handed with the next stack 2.5x yours, KJ should shove and the bvb spots you missed. I understand tho when it is a sick amount of money on the line. Sometimes the money you could basically guarantee yourself by playing a less variant way is more important in this particular tourney then to play bigger risk bigger reward poker.

Ok I don’t want to take this the wrong way, but it is a hand history review discussing what should be done rather than what was done. In the heat of the moment I mentioned I made mistakes and didn’t go for the win as such, which I was not very happy about. Personal circumstances/being backed, etc played a huge role at this final table for me causing me not to play like I normally do. So instead of stating the obvious in spots I missed in the comments that I already said I missed why not talk or inquire about things I said in the HH Review itself that you agreed/did not agree with. Just my take on it so far. Sorry in advance if I am not interpreting some of the comments the right way.

Also, any constructive criticism is always welcome. I am not a perfect poker player and am here to learn as well and I am always working on my f.o game. Only way to get better is when people tell you what you did wrong and how to fix it!

    Hey Danny,

I’m really surprised to see TPE members criticizing some of the decisions you made, especially when you made it clear in several spots how you should have played it differently. I got a lot out of this series and look forward to seeing more in the future. I really respect the fact you can go through a hand history and admit you made mistakes.

The perfect poker player does not exist, hopefully those haters will get over it, give some constructive feedback, show some respect, and take this series(and every series on this site) for what it is – an opportunity to learn the game and better prepare ourselves for the next session.

Good luck in the rest of the TCOOP series!

    great series!!

I actually like the fact that you missed some shoving spots. just goes to show you that it’s way easier to talk about the correct action when it is just a hand in a replayer or on the forums .. but that playing a hand in the heat of the moment with lots of money on the line is a totally different thing.

keep up the great work and the spot-on analysis in your videos.

At 22 minutes would you have called the 8bb shove from the Cutoff with 22 from the BB had the button and SB folded?

great series by the way, big fan of your work
