While i completely agree with you, i think what it “looks like” is a really subjective idea. So I wish I knew how to break this down deeper instead of just playing a guessing game as to how my opponents view things.

on the subject of donk leading…”to find out where you’re at” is pretty much never a good reason to bet. HOWEVER, the donk lead isn’t the horrific play it’s sometimes made out to be.

a lot of this depends on history…your value range for 4betting small is pretty much guaranteed to be really thin, so if he realizes that he might test you with a 5bet.
