16:30, That A4 hand was post bubble where as the other hands were all directly on the bubble so i felt like he tightened his range and perceived mine as tighter also

26min, JQo, whilst the call is pretty awful, should we be capping his range given he 3x his prem range with 6bb rather than shoving so will be r/c 99+ AJ+?

It’s a pot odds calculation. How much is in the pot v how you much you have to call off to win it. Find the ratio and convert to a percentage, this gives the equity required to breakeven on a call.

Really enjoyed the series. Well thought out and explained. Good choice of HH, as you said plenty of tough and common MTT spots.

    Cheers

yes also if you are ever looking back at a HH in universal replayer and want to know if you made cEV calls, universal replayer can give you a shortcut by showing you the pot odds % necessary to break even (on the right-side panel in default set ups)

I was playing on Duggs table once he was to my right he shoves 24 big blinds with A,4o into my KKs ofcourse i snapped him off. Even if i am a tight player that is far from a optimal play.

possible (probable even) that he was just getting cute with 6bb bc it made no difference. in hindsight i dont like my in-video suggestion that this little difference meant X,Y,Z for his ranges later.

Enjoyed the series – think I have a lot to learn. Was hoping you could you tell me where the M charts are again as I wasn’t clear after hearing it in the video.

Enjoyed this quite a bit and a shout out thanks to DUGGS for exposing his mistakes. This has made me find and plug a few of my own leaks as well, many of them the same.
