I could be mistaken as recreational player because in poker i just don’t use a 3 betting range vs UTG openers i will flat my entire range.

just on the 64 diamonds hand, the fish bet 1200 into just over 2500 on the turn with board showing 7896. you mentioned its a small turn bet. is almost 50% of the pot considered small?? what would you be expecting as a decent bet size there?? my bet size is 55-70 percent. but 50% here is still a legitimate sizing IMO. looking forward to your response.

What are your thoughts on showing the bluff (64d) to the maniac? Do you think that helps future hands by giving him more of a chance to spaz ou when you actually have it, or is it better to not show bluffs to this type player? Sorry if this is a silly question.

This particular villain has big sizing with value hands so 1200 just feels more like a stab at the pot on this board on the turn imo

I think its fine, but then we re also giving information to other players at the table that we dont need to. The villain already hates me and is riled up!! The problem with showing to others if that you can level yourself into making incorrect hero calls.

love this video and love the WTF factor. I right clicked the 1280 for computers but it says failed – server problem when it tries to download the xml

Hmm, you are def missing out on a ton of value especially deeper stacked with value hands. That is def a fine strategy for a lot of situations, but there are also a lot of hands where you are shooting yourself in the foot either getting very little value from big hands or letting too many people enter the pot and not having any control with hands you’d prefer being heads up with control.

Also, say UTG has JJ, you are in MP or LP with KK, we’ll say 30-35bbs eff. Most players will not be folding JJ pre in this situation if you have shown any aggression throughout the tournament. However if you flat and take a flop there are such a large number of flops that you lose value from or can even scare you into going for less value. Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t flat KK with these stacks, it can def be a really good play and should be something you do (though we all know balance in MTTs is pretty overrated) and this is a pretty vague description, but I hope you get my point at least. Just saying it should be player and situationally dependent, not just a standard.
