On the BTN with AJs where we flatted EP 2x open on the QQT flop where it is checked to us, you stated that if we bet here then it will be as a bluff most of the time and you think checking was a mistake. The question I have is that didn’t you mention that bluffing in multi-way pots never work? Since this is multi-way and you accept that betting the flop would be as a bluff, wouldn’t a check be the best play?

Yeah, he did say that before but remember this is a paired board and you have AJ suited so your blocking a lot of broadways draws and AX hands and remember they only raised 2x and then the big blind only had to call 1 extra blind and was getting 6 to 1 odds to call. So the big blind’s range is filled with a lot of hands that can’t continue and the raiser’s hand likely didn’t connect because a lot of the QX hands are blocked because of the paired QQ flop and then we have AJ hearts which blocks a lot of AX and JX combos. So if we bet large enough on the flop we fold out most of his range and if he calls then we can narrow his range to a mid pocket pair or straight draw. If he raises then we know he likely has us beat and fold it out on the turn unless we connect.
