Would prefer more of a learning video in which you talk in depth about the hands and your opponents plays as opposed to watching you play 8 tables while reading and sending email and then making marginal plays (like with the KQo around minute 21 where you flat a raise and a flat before you with the first flat holding 12-14 BBs). Appreciate the live sweat but interested more in learning how and why you play instead of just watching you play.

I really hate doing live sweats, as evident by my lack of enthusiasm during them. However, you have to remember that people learn in different ways. While I feel my strength is it in analyzing hand histories after the fact, many people want to see the live sweats and feel that is the best way they learn.

Check out the videos of me analyzing other members. There’s tons of analysis in those. It’s just hard to give any analysis and a running dialogue when I’m busy eight tabling and trying to do standard business procotol for the day.

Agree with Wein. There are tons of theory / review videos on this site where the instructor talks 5+ minutes about a single hand.

I’m one of the guys who LOVE live sweats. This is where I learn the most. If I want to talk about a single hand with no end, I can post on forums .. but table dynamics is something you can’t read in books, or pick up in strategy forums. That’s why live sweats are so great. Just take “ReadOnYou” from video 1 .. he raised EVERY SB when it folded to him. The first couple of times Wein folded, but then he shoved his stack into ReadOnYou’s face. In a replayer you probably won’t notice that history because folded hands often times get skipped.

Anyway. Love the live sweats. Keep em coming.

Yeah at this point we have had enough people tell us they absolutely love live sweats, and the same amount of people tell us they hate them. There will be different opinions which is why our goal is to continue to just crank out different types of content so there is enough for everyone.
