My new strategy is to watch 10 mins with no sound and take notes on hands I would play differently and then watch again with sound to check my answers.

I am happy that I play most hands the same way as big dog and a couple of the ones I play differently, I play like Mark would.

I forgot to write the times down so I know I cannot expect to get replies. I wasn’t planning on posting this, but I feel like you guys deserve some comments because you aren’t doing this video for your health. If you are going to help us, we can at least show that we are listening.

Ideas I gained from this video…
    1. Try smaller 3bet and cbet sizes.
    2. Defend more often with hands that flop well.
    3. Dont cbet some flops if I have show down value and a draw
    4. Passing on that marginal spot with A9o in SB vs a 25bb BTN open. 3betting seems fine, but this lowers variance.

Here are a few hands I had thoughts on, but didnt record the times. I know they are all between 10-20 minutes though.

Q9o on BTN. UTG opens a lot so we 3bet. I would 3bet bigger and cbet bigger since the hand doesnt play well and his range is wide. I think he is calling both bets with his full range. If I go small like this, then I would probably barrel the turn.

JTO in CO. I would 3bet this almost every time.

AKs on 2555 board with flush draw. Mark says to bet the turn because you dont want to induce a value bet from 33. I think 33 is calling the turn bet anyway. We are either way ahead or way behind. Our hand is just a bluff catcher at this point. I like big dog’s turn check to induce a bluff.

Im going to start the second half now and continue muting/unmuting, but I wont post comments again unless I know you guys want that from us or unless I have a burning question. I just wanted to do it this time since I didn’t do it on the other videos I’ve watched. I felt like I should let you guys know this is helping tremendously and say thank you.

The great thing about learning so much from you guys is that it causes me to ask less questions and post less comments even though I am loving the TPE videos. Catch 22.

Wow! I just went back and read the comments on the first two vids. Let me just say thank you. I dont know if you guys hear this enough.

Here, we have 2 of the best MTT players in the world showing us how to beat one of the toughest MTTs in the world. I appreciate that. If I had to turn my speakers up to the max to hear this, I would. BTW, I didn’t have to. My speakers are at a normal level and I could transcribe you guys word for word if I wanted to even with Mark being a little low. It’s not that serious. Don’t miss the forest for the trees.

Oh yeah, one last thing. Thank you Casey, Mark, Diego, and Derek.

KQ @ 3:30 or so – Agree with Mark that it’s a cbet here almost always. I don’t like checking and then playing the hand blind if a 4th spade comes.

I do like the river check, though. Our hand looks extremely weak after we check flop, bet turn, check river. I think Jx bets and some missed draws do as well. I don’t see much value in betting the river unless we’re really sure Jx will call and there aren’t many Jx in his range anyway.
