Hello everyone! My name is Levi, I grew up and lived in Madison, Wisconsin until i was 18.  I then joined the army to help pay for school, and for the last four years I've been living/working in Germany and the middle east.  I took an interest in poker after seeing a few other soldiers playing after work.  I was very fortunate to have a friend who had been playing for years online.  He gave me some initial instruction and a few books to read and I sort of dove into poker without really understanding it.  After making a few deposits and losing them, I realized how “behind the curve” I really am.  My first reaction after realizing this was that I should just stop playing and focus on other things in my life.  I took a few months off and realized that I didn't need to stop playing, I needed to take the game seriously.  So, not too long ago, I started ordering a few poker books every week.  I began to study everyday and try to learn each aspect of the game.  I've been continually studying and trying to improve every aspect of my game.  I signed up with a few other training sites, but found that the content was either not designated for tournament play, or the content that was available was just not what I was looking for.  So, I've ended up here, with high expectations as to what this site can do for me!  I'm looking forward to meeting other players and gaining as much knowledge as I can!  I will be separating from active duty in three weeks and I'll have a lot of time to devote to the game and I'd really like to make the most of the opportunity!
